The first part is the hardest, choosing a project from over 200 pieces on our shelves and then check out the design center for ideas and techniques from our samples & books.

Our staff will help with advice on how to sponge, "fwapp", splat, stamp or stencil.  Stamping is a good way for beginners to get started, and then to build on the design with their own personal touches.  We will show you how to use the tools that are available, glazes, stamps, sponges, brushes, etc.  We do some really cool stuff with the salad spinner and can even help you transfer your own sketch or design to your piece with transfer paper, and then you are ready to paint!

Prices Range from approximately $8 to $40 per piece. 

Because we charge a one-time studio fee, you can relax and take your time.  There is no hourly fee, and you can even return to finish a piece at a later date, still at no additional fee.

Upon completion of your masterpiece, it will be glazed and fired in the kilns on site, and ready for pick-up in one week (sometimes a little longer during the holiday season).

 Special Events and Birthdays.

Claytime Cafe is the perfect place for your next get together.  We have a separate party room for Children Parties, Adult Gatherings, Baby & Wedding Showers, Team Building Activities, Clubs, Troops & Groups. Classes for specific projects can be scheduled for Scouts, Book Clubs, Senior Outings, etc.    Reservations can be scheduled in the main studio for groups Tuesday - Friday. We do not reserve space on weekends in the main studio. The party room will hold up to 12 children/painters comfortably.  Y Pricing for parties varies depending on the pieces you choose.  Most parties (minimum 8 painters) comes with a "guest of honor" signature piece.  You are welcome to bring in a cake or get a special delivery deal on pizza from Primo's located in the  shopping center just down the road.  We provide you with 2 hours to paint and party, and also any supplies needed for the painting project only.
